Multi Map Mode. how from board keybs?

Apologies for the ‘once again Multimap tutorial/help’ but can’t remake it work like had in my DT, seen all I could see and one YT video actually has the Drums working from the KEyb of the A4 MKI not external keyb, I used to manage playing multimap from DAW in the past from DT but can’t just hear a thing but the sound assing normally on the track desired to play drums. Any soul a trick? Cheers

Did you use the right PERF midi channel ? You can set it in Global, Midi Channel

DN = DigitoNe

Ah I misunderstood board keybs.
A4 Mini Keyboard. So I found a workaround for that, with midi loopback indeed. (Possible without it with DN).

It’s possible to play and record Multi Map in Multi Map edit mode. Change octaves with Transpose + Arrows.

So maybe midi loopback is not necessary, but last time it was my conclusion.

So midiloop like midi cable in and out of the A4?

Check my above post : it works in Multi Map edit. Don’t need midi loopback. You can play and record, I just checked. Transpose button + Arrows to change octave.

AFAIK Digitakt doesn’t have Multi Map ?
Digitone does.

So just to be clear : no need for midi loopback, except if you want to play Multi Map with FX and CV tracks.
