On page 69 of the Digitone User Manual, at 14.7 Multi Map Edit it states “The functions that can be mapped are: . . . . and the ability to trig patterns with custom transpose and timing settings”.
How do you set the transpose and timing settings?
You cannot. The text in the manual that you quoted appears to have been inappropriately copied from the Analog Four manual. The AF’s PAT.PLAY mode has extra settings for transposition and pattern start.

Guessed that was probably the case, but maybe in the next update

I think it just means you can change to different patterns that have different transpose settings. But when I first read it because it mentions transpose thought it can multimap transpose also
