I’m new to digitone, I love it and I’m learning how to use it.
I’m trying to configure the multimap to be able to live play some drum sounds on a track.
I created a pool with some sounds in it, then I created the map with this config:
Function: INT.TRIG
Range low: C0
Range high: B0
Track: AUTO
Note: C0
Note inc: 1
Sound slot: 1
Snd slot note inc: 1
Snd slot vel inc: 0
Fixed vel: OFF
But when I click the trigs the sounds are note those in the pool and actually I can’t understand the logic behind what I heard! (trigs play some different sounds but where do they came from?)
I’d set Note inc to 0, otherwise it changes your drums pitch chromatically from lowest note. @emadb do you know how to change played notes trigs in Multimap mode?
Probably you need to define different ranges. Consider also that multimap works until you have the screen on that page, as soon as you go back to normal visualization the multimap is disabled.
I already did that, but I wonder if there’s a possibility in Multimap mode, without midi loopback.
With A4, it’s TRANSPOSE + ARROWS to change octaves in Multimap edit mode.
I too struggle to get this working with an external controller.
tracks are set to listen to their corresponding midi channel (track 1 = channel 1 etc)
I then create 4 ranges (one octave each) starting on C0,
C0 goes to channel 1
C1 to channel 2 . and so forth
each tracks responds to my controller when sending on 1,2,3 or 4 but they won’t listen to my multimap channel at all
any thoughts what I could be doing wrong here?
cheers
