Side question: What do you think the key to synethesizing these kind of sounds is?
I love them, and would like to make this sort of stuff from scratch with hardware so as to be able to play it live more easily, but am not all that great at this sort of sound tbh. Spent too much time making gnarly basses I think. I feel like it’s a bit more than just “loads of reverb”… FM-ing with noise maybe?
