NDLR with Digitakt MIDI set up

I’m trying to use the NDLR with Digitakt, I want to record the midi notes generated from the NDLR into the Digitakt midi tracks but keep the Digitakt as the master clock/transport control, I have it set up like this:

DT going into a midi hub sending clock and transport.
Out from hub going into NDLR
Out from NDLR going into Digitakt.
Set midi out chanels on NDLR to 9, 10, 11, 12
Set channels 9, 10, 11, 12 on DT to same respective midi channels.

For some reason the drums are triggering on channels 1 - 4 on the DT and its not recording the midi from NDLR.

I’d be interested to know how anyone else who uses these together has it set up.

Do you have Receive Notes enabled in the MIDI settings > Port Config?

MIDI settings > Channels : turn them off for every Audio Tracks (Track 1 to Track 8).
