Negative MIDI Delay in Analog Rytm?

Hey guys,

Here he says that he achieved “negative midi delay” (1:20) . Anyone knows what is this exactly in this context?

I am trying to send clock from Ableton to my AR through Overbridge, but I still get around 100ms delay. I have an Apple M1 Max 64GB and Audient iD14 audiocard. How is possible to get a stable delay ? Every time I hit play, it’s a different delay.

This problem I get it when recording (Ableton is the master). When playing live I usually make the AR the master. Any ideas?
