New A4 mk2 user

Just taken delivery of one, and man this thing is incredible…totally love the sound whilst browsing the kits…My synth list is neutron, td3, and monologue. This sounds way, way better to my ears, and yeah I know they are cheap mono synths, but man, im in love with the sound of the A4…plus it compliments my other synths really well. seems to have a much more focused, tighter sound to it.

I had read that its a bit of a mare to program, but for me, I find it quite intuitive and love the digital control over the analogue, as I hate that on the monologue for example, change a preset and all the knobs are in the wrong position, so if you tweak one, you’ve gotta then figure out where the preset setting was at.

and it does way more than I imagined after playing through the kits…does it have something similar to the monologue where you can dial in different patch settings per note step?

Yes, check out the sections on parameter locks and soundlocks … two ways to achieve that

ah ok, awesome :+1:t2:

It’s a great way of making a sequence of multiple sounds that all choke each other. A punchy kick and a long reverby snare for example.

You can also lock the FX per step too. Nice way of giving a Kick reverb or delay, but only on one step.

Interesting, thanks :+1:t2::sunglasses:

Take the time to read e wry page of the manual soon enough, it’s very rewarding.
Have fun!!
