Pleased to say new e.p. up on BC (in time for Bandcamp Friday!) streaming to follow:
Tracks mainly came from making sure I had enough material for a live set last year. I got thinking about how much you add to each track (not that these are sparse) hence the name of the e.p. Then for the artwork I was interested in a nod to bauhaus with it’s principle of form follows function and how that related to the e.p. title as well.
Inspiration from house, brokenbeat and hip-hop mainly. Mpc One for most of the work, with ideas coming from the SP404sx, Circuit OG and DT as well.
