Does anyone know why the delay, chorus and reverb effects are not being applied to separate audio tracks when recording into Ableton via USB?

They are only a bus. Meaning you are only going to hear them when run thru the master channel. Independent outs are “dry” by their nature.
You have to run each channel soloed into the master to capture each individually with effects.
I recommend recording both the individual (dry) channel and master for each. Gives more options for post production
