This is probably very simple, but the color coding of the track buttons and muting and whatnot is really confusing on the Digitone, in my opinion, and the manual doesn’t really say a lot about the color coding, so I’m not really sure what to do here.
Basically, on track 1, if I play the keys when not in grid rec mode, sounds are coming from the track. But if I place some notes in grid rec mode, and play it back - nothing! I can see the track being lit up in green (I thought that meant active track, as per the info in the manual, but if I press one of the other track buttons, they do not turn green). The other tracks are red, however, and they emit sounds both in keys mode and grid rec mode. I’ve tried function + track to mute/unmute, and I’ve also gone into mute mode (func + bank) and tried to turn that on and off on track 1, with no effect. I can’t seem to change the green light of track 1.
Anyone know what could be causing this? I have to say the color coding of the lights on the track buttons does not make a lot of sense to me.
