I turned on my A4 and everything powers and looks fine but there is no sound coming out of it all of a sudden. Any ideas?
This is probably because you have the wrong psu inserted. It must be a psu3.
It’s the same one I’ve always had for it. It’s the one Elektron shipped it with.
Have you try recalibrating ???
You didn’t disconnect the tracks from the stereo out ?
Checked all your cables - mixersettings etc… ?
What where your last actions before this happened ?
U aren’t working with an empty Kit ?
U didn’t turn all track - volumes down ?
The cables are in the correct outputs ?
Answers below - Any other thoughts?
Have you try recalibrating ??? - Not yet - I will try this tonight
You didn’t disconnect the tracks from the stereo out? - No
Checked all your cables - mixersettings etc… ? - Yes
What where your last actions before this happened ? Nothing changed really I unplugged the A4, brought it upstairs,
Plugged it back in and no sound

U didn’t turn all track - volumes down ? Nope, I checked
The cables are in the correct outputs ? Yes and I tried headphones.
I also triple checked the PSU to make sure it was the Psu3
I’ve ran into the same problem. This machine is turning out to be a bit too demanding for my lkking.
load a new project…save old project before if necessary, report back

Have you tried plugging it back into the wall socket downstairs, where it was before?
Thank you.
That was too easy. My plate is pretty full here. I should slow down.
We have sound.
Just want to say that this 4 year old thread helped me out tonight. I was so bummed when my A4 wasn’t making noise and I was surprised that the first comment was about the wrong PSU but what do you know, I was using the wrong PSU. Swapped in the right one and everything’s working well.
Elektronauts never disappoint. Thank you!
Same here, mixed with the octatrack PSU good this thread shows up in the first results in a google search.
