I’m wondering if anyone switched from the Nord Lead A1 to the Nord Lead A1R.
I’m considering of hunting one down because it takes up less sapce.
I would use a Digitone Keys as the keyboard controller for it.
Did anyone make this exact switch? Did you regret it? Why? Why not?
Good luck finding an A1r. They are like hens teeth and with a commensurate price.
I’m kicking myself for not buying one when I had the chance.
I ended up finding one in what looks to be mint condition. Time to rearrange my table again!
Where did you find one? I’m looking here in Germany but the only A1R is available on reverb for 25% more than it should cost 
I found one locally here in Sweden.
I paid 621 EUR (7000SEK) for mine but I also think that it started out at 843 EUR and hopped owners a few times because I could see the same listing for a mint condition Lead A1R popping up from different cities with 1-2 months of gaps in-between.
In fact, I think this unit is exactly the same as the one I “didn’t buy when I had the chance” and I was kicking myself over it.
The original shipping label back from 2015 when the unit was sent from Nord is still on the box and according to it the destination was the same town where the “missed” unit was listed. It could of course be a coincidence but who knows.
