For sure. I think we’re past the point of influencers accidentally leaking device announcements. Retailers are a totally different story.
It looks that it has again only 2 tracks for bass/melodies and only 4 drum tracks. While the structure for yet another 2 tracks is there, (see in the picture the 2 midi tracks).
The Circuit workflow is very fast and intuitive though…
Oh man I’m tired of this teasing crap. Really. I got tired and ordered that Roland MV-1. I’ll probably return it and buy the Circuit Samples… when it’ll be available… because it seems to me the workflow is simpler and quicker.
And yes, I noticed in Stimming’s photo NO CABLES. Fuck yeah! I wouldn’t mind sticking my small Anker battery to it with velcro like I did on the Octatrack MK1 but built in is definitely nice.
I’m really glad though that companies started making Grooveboxes again. 2021 should be interesting in terms of new gear & updates.
At some point in the near future there will be more ‘influencers ‘ ( horrible term ) than actual people intended to purchase from shops.
It’ll be more challenging to take studio photos and NOT leak something.
I could be an influencer ‘it sounds nice , like XXXXX ‘ in the scheme of things you don’t need it , it’s got bugs that I’m supposed to ignore and you’ll need firmware updates for the next six months ‘
… not a very good influencer.
if i was Novation, i would organize yet moar leaks.
just to spot how people react, finding things to complain no matter what.
it’s actually amusing.
Most of the complaints so far have been “The new Circuit is a Circuit??? What nerve. Why didn’t they make it an entirely different product???”
I don’t think that 2 extra tracks would make the Circuit a complete different product.
Circuit Tracks + Rythm combined with Make Noise 0-coast + Strega…hmmmm could be my next live Setup…
A lot of love these days for that Synth.
The Circuit Tracks has two midi tracks, the 0-coast responses to two midichannels. Natural buddies, plus the form factor is great.
S/h prices for the 0-coast are great.
I have been having similar thoughts.
Looks like the 0-coast is getting back on the resale market pretty hard lately…you can save over 300 cad on the retail price approximately in MTL area.
They were a couple ones pretty cheap on Kijiji in the past month…
Maybe this subject have been adressed before but anyways…
I have been searching around the last 1,5 month for the “Original” Circuit at different stores (both physical and online in the EU) but its either “sold out” or no longer available at the actual store (it’s just disappeared from some of them).
Cooould it be that the “Tracks” is just the replacement for the first version, more like a MKII version and Novation attempting to branch out the brand with the “Rythm” (sampler Circuit) + “Tracks” (Standard Circuit)?
Yes.
I’m am extremely hopeful that it can overcome that
these look fun. always wished ableton would put out a circuit size unit…
I’m so so so hyped! C’mon Novation, don’t drop the ball!
it’s worth remembering that the two synth tracks on the OG circuit had 6 voices of polyphony each. plus, circuit was able to do elektron style sound locks.
Ok ok we know it’s real
Bring on the infos.
I really hope they launch both versions and not like Korg did with the Electribe 2 where you had to wait for the sampler version.
