Here you go Sir, a quick google led me straight to this -
Thank you! I’d also be curious who else beyond Isotonik is selling packs.
well, patches and samples from older packs are totally compatible.
the problem is sessions. i just recorded them track-by-track from OG circuit, but some people i guess don’t have it.
From memory I remember Red Means Recording & Cuckoo have done a couple of packs each. Also, I really like the packs from Digiphex Electronics - perfect for Boards of Canada, Autechre, Aphex Twin type stuff.
What’s the Circuit Tracks like anyone? I have one coming on Monday looks a cool little box.
firmware v1.1.5 is just released.
it fixes voice stealing issues and increases total sample storage to 196 sec (which is 3 min 16 sec). also, max length of a single sample is now 98s.
And a fantastic update it is too!!! Fixed my main issue in one update!!!
What is the actual difference between the first circuit and the tracks besides dedicated midi tracks?
3 min of samples available, better filter & that’s just what i know, don’t own one but i watch
As the developer documentation (with the MIDI implementation) is not released yet, I was only able to take a look at the OG Circuit documentation. It seems, that every parameter of the synth engine is changeable (and readable) via MIDI. So I plan on using my Electra One to be the portable Non-Laptop-Editor for the Synths.
I got one question tho:
Has anyone checked, if the songs store a reverence to the patch, or do they have their own storage space for everything. So if I create an empty init patch and use it for a song, will it persist without overwriting the init patch?
On OG Circuit, you had your 64 patches + 2 patches per session, disconnected from the pool.
Also, beware, lots of parameters are nrpn instead of “standard” midi cc.
Sigh. I’ve been looking forward to seeing what the Rhythm’s about so it can be a little buddy to my Digitakt. That would make things so annoying.
That sounds cool. Electra One is able to send NRPN. Will take some work to get the interface done, but should be cool to be unattached to a PC!
Had my Circuit Tracks a couple of days now, hmm not impressed with this at all. Maybe I’ll give it some more time tho. Only thing I like is the x2 midi tracks feature. I wiped my whole unit to fill it up with my own synth sounds and samples (haven’t done any sounds or added samples yet) The included samples are meh! I’ll have a few more days with this tho it’s the least I can do but I’m thinking I’ll only use it to trigger a couple of mono synths.
are we getting closer to the rhythm or what?
This is the real question right here.
Website says Summer 2021. So, 2-5 months or so?
While waiting for the Rhythm, I’m still having a ton of fun with the Tracks. It’s basically the piece of hardware I wish had existed when I started putting gear on the table. It doesn’t quite fit where I am in my hardware journey now, but it’s still fun to play with, and such a great starting point for getting a jam going with other gear.
Pretty new to some of this stuff still but, I’m hoping I could use the rhythm to sequence other gear and use to play long loops like bass and guitar riffs, can anyone confirm thsi could be possible?
You don’t need to hear this but this is great as usual, I’m a big fan of yours and can’t wait to see what you do with the rhythm man
