Does anyone know if Oberheim are going to put the OB up on their site after they announce it at Superbooth? How long do you think?
Today is apparently the “end of the demo embargo” so here’s to hoping we’ll be hearing a lot of this thing soon…

Sounds fantastic! Sounds cleaner and more vintage than the OB-6 AFAICT.
Yes very high priced and too much for me too. I had planned to buy a Code 8 earlier on but very expensive also. I really hope they make a Desktop version!

Now available for pre-order at Thomann. 5700 €… Well, Oberheim has never been cheap. It surely sounds fantastic, though.

You’ll probably get 90% of this with the OB-6.
Apart from the 8 voices, the keyboard and maybe a finer sound I wonder how much this differs from the OB-6 which you can get as a module?

It seems like a great studio synth, with a nice big panel and a nice big keyboard. Its pretty baller imo, theres nothing really comparable, except maybe a moog one which is even more expensive.
