Octatrack Chromatic Sample Chain Cheat Sheet

Lately I’ve been creating 64 note chromatic sample chains out of various synths and VSTs. I have a template project where I can assign one of those chains to a static slot, assign this slot to track 1 through 5, adjust slice number for each track on different patterns and resample various chords out of each pattern.

It’s relatively simple to find chord notes within the first octave, but I found out that I get super confused once I go beyond 13th slice (which essentially becomes one octave higher) so I created a cheat sheet for myself. I thought it may be useful for someone else so I decided to post it here.

Enjoy some early 2000s geocities/tripod web graphics vibes + bonus pixelated version.

Cheers!

P.S: Totally unrelated but, not a single piece of the minimal setup above is plugged into power. OT has internal battery mod, EHX Platform is connected to a powerbank (behind the picture frame) via birdcord, and the headphone amplifier is rechargable!
