Octatrack fader question

Hello elektronauts,

just a quick question. I received my new Octatrack yesterday (after telling my self 4 weeks ago after buying the AR that i have everything i need now :wink: ) and i just noticed that the fader has no resistance at all as in moves very easily. Is this normal behaviour ?

If I recall correctly, the xfader will have a screw in the middle of it to change the resistance.

To get at it, you’ll have to take the OT apart like this guy does here. It only takes a few minutes though.
