Octatrack mk1 low battery

Hey there! I’ve seen quite a few threads about this topic but I’m still confused about a few things.

I took the battery out, cleaned the contacts and put a new one in but it still says battery-low.

While searching through previous threads I found two things I found interesting.

  1. Some people say there are two batteries inside the octatrack? I only found one, do some octatracks take 2 and some take 1?

  2. I read somewhere that popping out the CF card and putting it back in could resolve this issue. It didn’t for me. How could the CF card effect the battery low warning?

Any suggestions?
