So many of these are selling online.

They all say never been used. Priced way to high.
Yet you come to this thread, see the serial number in the sale listing and can find the number and the persons post here in this thread.

Looking at these numbers 3 people are selling them claiming never been used. Yet scroll in this thread to find them posting pictures and jams with it.

I imagine itā€™s only a matter of time before people realize how expensive those 3 red record buttons really are, question whether their exclusivity is worthwhile, and try to get someone else to FOMO into buying theirs.

OTƆ were not a lot more expensive than today black OT mk2.
Iā€™m pretty happy to have these 3 red buttons, :elot: is still my favorite instrument :tongue:

I guess anything limited edition is going to attract scalpers. Itā€™s annoying but all we can do is not help them out buying things at inflated prices. The regular black (and still very attractive, imo) OT is available to buy new or second hand at least.

Donā€™t get me wrong, Iā€™d like the red buttons too. Itā€™s a much clearer UI, but that shouldnā€™t be tied to exclusivity. Elektron can paint it orange, put banana and pineapple graphics on it, and charge a premium and that wouldnā€™t bother me one bit. But when they improve the UI with a simple button color change (also the mk1ā€™s had red rec buttons) and charge a premium for it, that puts me off.
