Octatrack not sending MIDI velocities it receives, only records and plays them back?

Using a MIDI keyboard, sending to the OT on the auto channel and switching tracks to send to different MIDI channels/equipment.

When recording or p-locking trigs the OT receives velocity info from the keyboard and sends these velocities correctly when playing the sequencer, but when sending the MIDI thru externally (even when recording) all the notes are stuck at the same velocity that’s indicated on the NOTE page.

EDIT- changed the post title to more accurately describe the problem. It’s very weird and I can’t find any setting to change this. Surely it can’t be a crazy limitation, I can’t remember coming across this before…

Aha, tracked it down. The tracks had the ARP enabled (but on a slow speed so I didn’t hear it repeating the notes), all working fine now that’s disabled.
