Has anyone had any trouble with this? Mine will work ok for a while then it will suddenly stop sliding smoothly and feel like its getting jammed up with ‘a goopy feeling’ that makes it stick. It can be cleared by forcing it back and forth through it a few times but it always comes back. Its still in warrant so should I be worried and take it back to the store? Or is there an easy fix?
Check the mountings of the xfader. It might have gone off the rail, literally. It rarely does that, but it’s happened to me once in 5 years. You have to open the OT carefully, and push the mounting back in position. Only do this if you are out of warranty. Otherwise, open a support ticket.
