I realized that my Nova had one of these behind a hard plastic blue screen so I removed it to reveal it in all its glory. I love the minty green light of these displays and I’m proably going to hang on to it now, for a while anyway.

It might be an idea to cut or get cut a piece of clear Perspex to cover the display and protect it and stop dust etc getting in. Those old VFD displays can have some pretty high voltages on them too!
I did that, thanks. I found some lenticular plastic from an old Sony cassette case and now it has this pseudo-hologram depth effect going on.
