OT Automation

hello everyone,

I can’t find anything sensible about it, unfortunately. I wonder if it is even possible to run a controlled automation with the OT !? That means, e.g. to automate a single element from soft to loud but exactly four bars and it should be exactly at the one z. B. always start … Or an exact filter color … all of this without manually going over the faders, pure automation to run a clean arrangement.

If anyone knows how to do it, it would be great if you could say what to do for it !!

… exactly what I was looking for, thank you very much !! I’m curious if this works well …

LFOs are pretty convenient too.

Midi track > Lfo designer with crossfader’s CC48 as destination, midi loopback. :content:

Unfortunately no slide trigs on midi tracks.
Not linear but you can record crossfader movements with a midi track, even in arranger mode.

Slides are complicated to set up for this purpose if you have several trigs between the slide trig and the target value. Ideally you’d have 1 trig with slide at the beginning, a trigless at the end of the pattern. Eventually add a Neighbor track.

If you have several trigs, you can use a Sync Trig lfo that starts at the beginning of the track.
Only one parameter per lfo.

Complicated, but not impossible: if you plock intermediate values on intermediate trigs OT should work

But boring. :content:
An Excell sheet for all steps values!

I just tried this again. Really fun randomizing the lfo designer.

Wow… 7 minutes of blah blah before he even starts with the slide trigs. I heard him say it once, then gave up.

Funny as I was thinking of making a slide trig video since my digitone 303 patch tutorial was so popular. I’m not going to now.

Uggghhhh

Even talking about watching tv with he’s wife!
I scrolled the video of course.
23 mn where 23 s would suffice. :content:

indeed there is a need for a more concise video demo :joy:

for me the LFO variant is the best. If I set trig = sync trig, wave = saw and mult = 1x via the LFO page and have previously assigned a parameter for automation via the CCs, I can run a perfect automation that starts and ends exactly where I command it. Perfect. Thanks again.
