OT files corrupted

Read years ago people had this issue, but nothing on the forums recently. i bought a new OT 2 month ago and had 3 projects corrupted so far. Check the card with the computer and looks ok. I am doing something wrong, or someone found a solution?

Corrupted CF card?

I read a few of you had a corrupted CF card. I corrupted mine at some point too. This can happen if you use the usb mode and unplug the card before dismounting it. If you have a corruption you can use a dos box to fix it using chkdsk driveletter: /f (type chkdsk /? for help) The card will be dismounted during the process and it might be advisable to do this on a cf card reader instead of the OT in USB mode. OT did it again, corrupt projects

i am fearful of plugging the OT to the computer and using it’s usb disk mode option as it yet again demolished projects (plural!) i’ve been working on. i saved to a new project beforehand, thinking that this line of events is possible, but the project corrupted was not only the new version, but the old one as well. this is the third time this happened, and is a rather foul tasting experience. Dead CF card - back up your projects!

Today is a sad day. I booted up my Octatrack to work on this track that I thought really had some potential. The screen was frozen and none of the buttons were responsive, so I booted in test mode and saw the dreaded “ATA: NO INT” message The hardware is fine, the card is dead. I added a spare card and it’s working, but of course I lost work. I hadn’t backed up my CF card in over a couple months. I lost at least 5 projects I really liked. Corrupt project!?!

so i hook up my octa to the computer to transfer some files, and after the removal (safe) upon loading the project there was a brief display with “corrupt” in it, and all the samples in flex and static machines were gone. that’s a lot of work up in smoke. i would hate this happening again, has anyone had similar experiences?

Octatrack project corrupted? (MK2)

Hi, i’ve just opened my project to make a check following the gig i will have. And one project opens, but all knobs are not working. Triggers work, the projects playback, but i can’t move any knob. Switched to other project and everything works fine. Anyone had similar issue? I’ve made the empty reset and it didn’t help. Is there something i can do to recover it?
