Hey guys,
I got the Digitakt a few weeks ago and I’m really happy with it. I even reached my goal and developed a liveset, which consist of the following elements:
- Digitakt connected do Ableton with Overbridge 2.0
- Ableton Live 10.1.9
- Akai APC 40 Mk2
- a Midi Keyboard
- my interface is the Steinberg UR 22
- (in future my Minilogue synth)
The big problem is, that every 20-30 Minutes, Ableton “freezes” (no sound) for 2-3 seconds and then continues to play with a messed up clock. It seems like it is resetting.
I’m still trying to narrow down the source of the problem, e.g. new driver software of the interface, getting a powered USB hub (is use an unpowered one right now), trying to remove elements to see if it’s a certain device causing the problem. This process is quite difficult as the audio dropout is random and takes a long time to happen. So I can’t recreate the mistake. My CPU is always around 20% and when the problem occurs it does not go up. So it doesn’t seem to be a problem of CPU.
Does anyone have the same weird problem? Is it possible that Overbridge 2 ist causing this “reset”? Or do you have any tips?
