Overbridge analog keys Monterey problem

os monterey (had no choice with the new macbook pro m1pro)

Overbridge is working with analog keys but no audio from individual channels (see screenshot). Main L/R audio is coming in perfectly on the track with the plugin, but nothing on audio tracks or on “external instruments” tracks.

Do you guts think it’s related to montery or am i missing something in the settings of the Analog Keys? (could be as i just got it used from an auction , with al the settings messed up) Then again… i don’t think there are any settings regarding this

latest OB

latest Firmware on AK

Ableton live 11 suite

I just tested it - I have a MacBook Air M1 which I usually do not use for music, installed OB and like your setup the individual track outputs have no audio.

Unfortunate but it will probably come soon. Who knows what Apple did with their audio system in Monterey this time.

oh man, thanks a lot for testing it out ! i really appreciate
it’s unfortunate but at least i don’t have to do further troubleshooting!
you’re on monterey as well, i assume?
because on my previous m1 air with big sur it was working…

Yes I am on Monterey on that M1 Air with Ableton 11 beta 1.xx . Everything else actually works really nice otherwise. I don’t remember if I tried on Big Sur. My main Mac (mini) is on Catalina I believe and will stay that way for a while.

So if you want to use your A4K you might have to record the tracks separately for now.

Just realized: Start your Overbridge Control Panel and maybe the inputs are turned off except the master? Cannot try at the moment but maybe that solves it…

thnx, I can’t find that setting. I don’t have anything I could choose from in the OB control panel…

To open the Overbridge control panel, go into Applications->Elektron->Overbridge Control Panel

It should look something like this (this is for an A4 mk1, but I guess it’s the same for the keys). Make sure the little toggle switches under Synth Trk, 2 etc are set to “on” in the Input channels. If they’re not, set them to on and then hit apply.

OMG … that was the reason! I didn’t even know that panel existed, as on all
previous Mac os versions everything was working fine.
thanks a lot to both of you !!
