I have the problem that in Ableton, although all the other routing is working correctly(voices + seperate fx channel), with the EXT in i always get an input. Even when the input Volume in the “input” section is set to 0. if i put that up it makes it louder (and makes it possible to route to fx). but it never goes away…
Any ideas?

ok. seems like if i put up the volume in the input volume section the signal is additionally merged with my fx channel (even i didnt apply fx on the input track), while still playing as always in the ext in channel. would be cooler if it would be handled like the voices, to get a clean input in ableton, and just the fx on a seperate channel.
is it the same problem for you guys?
