Overbridge making my digitone sound muffled when activated

Hey, I’m not too sure what’s going on, I’m trying to record a track with overbridge, I add the 4 tracks and it sounds very muffled or squished, I make sure the int to main is turned off so I don’t get a doubling sort of sound, I’m using bitwig studio three. It sounds great if I just do a single stereo track, I just want to get deeper with ob on this track. Anyone know what’s going on?

Have you routed the fx to main, and brought those in as well, on their own track? If a pattern uses fx, not having them could make the pattern sound dry and flat (relatively speaking)

Hmm, not sure then. Mine sounds the same through OB as it does as a stereo track.

If I record in the standalone plugin, it’s not muffled, but the tempo gets faster and gets extremely out of sync when I drag it into daw.

Ok I can try that, it’s honestly nothing too crazy. It doesn’t sound terrible, it’s just a noticeable muffled sound

ok I encountered this as well along with another seemingly related issue that I brought to Elektron support. In the end here is exactly how it resolved for me: in Settings - Audio Routing > Int to Main
change it from Auto to On. (btw - I use overbridge standalone no DAW, and currently do all my midi connectivity via midi cable vs USB) This solved the issue (as well as a weird gain jump I was experiencing when aggressively changing sound parameters aggressiveyly during playback) I can send more info from my exchange with Elektron (who ere super helpful and responsive) if you need, but try that.

Yoo, please. This would be great

did you try the setting and did it work?

Hey, I just saw this. Sorry for the late response. Yeah it’s not working properly, thanks for looking into it though, appreciate it
