Hello all … I am trying to begin to understand how to record performance midi and changes to Ableton … I understand it is possible but can find no resources at all on how it is done. Can anyone illuminate the mystery?
I have been using Overbridge to record the dry tracks and the FX track to Ableton … but the FX track is mixed (of course) and kind of makes any post-performance editing clumsy. I am hoping I can adjust parameters in the performance and set Ableton to play the corrected performance data … am I dreaming? Or is such magic real …?
