I’ve been using The DIgitakt with Ableton live through Overdrive since quite a few and I have to say that’s amazing. Actually, my workflow mostly consists in using ableton Live to produce loops that I then inject back in the digitakt using record (by playing the from ableton to dt)
Today, I’m facing a sort of limitation i’m sure there is a way to overcome:
- if I want to modify a DT param in ableton I do it through the DT overbidge track where I modify the eveloppe manually for let’s say T6 Filter RESO.
- It works perfectly
- But: I’m wondering if I could record the actual enveloppe modulation from the digitakt itself (by turning the knob manually) rather than from the ableton drawing mode.
I tried multiple things, including:
- putting the dt track in record mode in ableton
- trying to do this in both ableton views (the loop one and linear one)
Now I’m simply wondering if it’s possible to record enveloppes variations from the dt to ableton.
Any feedback truly appreciated as it would save me a lot of clicks and really ease my workflow
