Overbridge Update Issues

Hi All,

Hoping someone can shed some light…

I’ve recently updated my A4mk1 to 1.40 and Updated OB to 2.0.24. FIrst issue is that Ableton 9 now does not see the VST plug in, although the A4 plugs are in the VST folder… Is Overbridge now 64 bit only? I may have missed that note.

Secondly, since this is not working in Ableton I thought I’d try LogicProX (10.4.1) It sees the Plug-in and plays but something is causing the A4 to randomly stop or drop its OB connection altogether and requires the A4 to be restarted. (Sync is off in OB) I noticed

Next, in the OB Sound Browser, none of the Sound Drive Library shows up!

Switching out the USB cable hasn’t made a difference…

This series of problems has me stumped! Please help!

Update…

Ive plugged the A4 in via a USB hub and part of the problem seems to have resolved… Sound Library is back and no longer getting random stops. Could be related to this


I am using a Xeon Mac, however this has not been an issue before recent A4 and OB updates… Curious
