Overbridge using individual outs on Rytm

Hi,

This is my first post so hello everyone.

I have recently purchased a Rytm and an Octatrack. I have a RME Raydat HDPSE pcie card connected to a Ferrofish A16 and will be running it through some selected bits of hardware being an IGS 2A, 76 and a rubber bands EQ.

I obviously want to get the best sound possible and utilise as much of the analogue sound as possible. I want to record at 96kHz as it means I can record my tr-8 through USB.

Is it possible to use overbridge and the external outs of the rytm to go into my ferrofish?

If anyone has any tips that would be great.

Thanks

Doug

Let me understand your question.

Overbridge will let you record over USB to your computer without external sound cards.

Sorry,

Basically I’m wanting to sync the rytm to ableton via overbridge and use some of the effects and sample systems overbridge offers then take midi out of my rytm to my other hardware via an external midi clock but utilise the external out and record into ableton at 96kHz.

Does this help?

Thanks for the reply

Doug
