Overbridge VST not connecting, indictor turns RED!

Hi all,

Just recently go my first Elektron (Four) and quickly started playing with Overbridge.

It seems to connect just fine on the Control Panel and I am able to get audio into Ableton from individual outputs while also being in sync with playback however the VST does not seem to connect. When the VST is loaded the green light comes on for a brief moment before it turns red. None of the VST functions work and the Preset window is totally empty.

What am I doing wrong?

ps. Running El Capitan 10.11 on Macbook Pro Early 2011 with Ableton Live 9.5

OK so the Green light does stay on now on the VST but the parameters still do nothing, Sound Bank still empty

Overbridge isn’t yet compatible with El Capitan.

There’s an update promised, but no idea when it’s going to land.

cant wait for Elektron to come up with an update… ! we have no word on timing yet i presume… :confused:

I am pretty sure I have read here that there are people with El Capitan using it without problems. I have also updated the firmware to the latest 1.21B, but still no luck :frowning:

I haven’t seen anyone claiming that there are no problems.

Overbridge is broken for me on El Cap, too - exactly the same issue. Tbh, I’ve not heard of it working properly for anyone since the update.

OK my bad guys. I must have got confused while reading all the stuff.

That probably explains the lack of reply from Elektron support as well.

What a let down t hough, as it was one of the features I was pretty excited
about when purchasing my first Elektron.

I guess I have no other option but to wait for an update then…

I have yet to see anyone use with el Capitan also. I recently updated and have to say the OS is very quick… had i known it would break the vst comm I would have waited.
In any case… Elektron guys are super fast on this stuff so shouldnt be too long now… fingers crossed… CANT WAIT!

I’m having the same Problem, used to work well before ‘El Capitan’ but it did work for a while on El Cap. now just doesn’t work… light goes green then red
