Per track microtiming

Hi there, I’m not sure if this is even a thing but is there any way to shift both the analog engine and sample on one track separately to each other? For example if I layer a synth clap with a sample and shift the synth sound left and the sample right to get a ‘wider’ clap. If not is there another way to layer a sound with seperate timing without using up another track?

Interesting idea. I don’t think you can do what you’re describing but I suppose you could make a sample with some silence at the beginning and then use the start point control to adjust the amount of offset to the right of the synth voice. Kind of a weird work around.
I often wish the two layers of a voice had a tad more independence though I’d never thought of micro timing.

Yes, I think it could lead to interesting results. I had thought of introducing a short silence to allow the sample more time to ‘breathe’ but I’m not sure if this just becomes a chore and not a very intuitive solution. Being able to move the two layers around freely would be amazing
