Performance Mode - How to change all tracks at once like Digitakt

Hi Elektronauts - I have what I think is a simple question. I’m slowly learning the Analog RYTM and starting to mess around with performance mode.

On the Digitakt, there was a combo where you could hold down the Track Button, turn something like the filter, and it would affect all of the tracks at once. I tried holding down TRK on the RYTM and turning various knobs, but it doesn’t seem to affect all tracks, just the one that is selected. It was a nice way of making chaos on the Digitakt. I suspect it is somewhere in Performance Mode on the RYTM, but cannot figure out how to have a change affect multiple tracks at once.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately there’s no “control all” available on Rytm

Ok, thanks for the quick answer! Performance mode seems plenty of fun as it is so will just explore that instead of searching for one feature. Thanks again!

I wish they would update this feature to the rytm

On the MK2 you can assign whatever you want to performance pads and use the performance knob for this effect.

Same. So much easier to find something interesting because you can try a lot of things quickly.

let’s all write an email! I hate not having this feature! Since we have that scene hack on the Digitakt …it’s unfair!

I’m sure they’re aware of this… Right??

To be fair, Elektron probably has a lot on their plate right now. Since Covid plus the recall on their battery powered handles. I hope they get around to a fresh Rytm update with this feature and maybe, just maybe, 2 LFOs!

1 mail = not high on priority list
10000 mails = people actually want and need it – jumps up higher in priority list

If you supply their email and a short write-up that formally says what Elektron should update and why, and include it in this comment chain, then I’d email them.

Let’s make it easy and just make a copy and paste email hotlist.

here you go:

send to feature-request@elektron.se
