Can you record your pattern changes into song mode instead of inputting then manually.
For example.
Hitting record
Pressing play on pattern one and then switching to pattern two and back to pattern one
And having those inputs being recorded into the song mode.

Hi and welcome. I think changing patterns with PTN + [TRIG] takes you out of song mode, so I don’t think there’s a way to do that, though you could change patterns row by row in the song edit screen while it’s playing. FN + DOWN is a good shortcut for duplicating a row if you want to change a row’s pattern and make a new section from it.
Song mode will record pattern mutes as you play, which I find great for revising a sketch arrangement over a playthrough or two…
