Playing in key using chromatic mode?

Hi there,

Is it possible to pick which key you play in when using chromatic mode?
ie. can you set the mini keyboard to only light up the mini keys based on what key you want to play in?

I swear I saw a video on this awhile back but cannot find it.

Thanks in advance.

Also is this possible on the A4 mkI?

It’s possible, hit the “note” button that’s below the MIDI button. Then you have keyboard scale on the right in that menu.

Hit the button with the music note on it below FUNC, not in front of my machine so I can’t check the name of the menu. You can scroll through different keys as well as modes. Also, if you’re using an external keyboard you’ll only be able to play notes in key

Thanks folks - have been getting used to this feature with my pio sampler.

Will look into getting a keystep to use with the A4.
