Can Syntakt sequence ext. gear polyphonically?

Yes it can with the MIDI machine, but be aware of the following limitations:

  • max 4 notes per track
  • all notes with the same length
  • all notes with the same velocity

Further you have 8 configurable CC values which can be p-locked in the sequencer. You also have pitch bend, aftertouch, mod wheel, breath control and program change messages, also p-lockable.

And you can use several tracks on the same midi channel to control one synth.

That’s only per step, ie. you can’t do true polyphonic sequencing, where multiple held notes can start and stop independent of each other.

Individual notes placed in the sequence can of course have their own lengths and velocities.
