So much gear! So little time to make music :))
Now … the last bit of labelling uncertainty (bottom right knob) …
Micromesh ? !?!?!
Micro move man It’s Move and Micromove
micromove most probably. That’s how Microtiming is called on the PT.
Micromove!
Haha… I dare them to not release it.
If I were Piotr I’d be like… oh year? Fuck it… releasing next year :))
The display looks more like e-ink. Not harsh black and white. Maybe the photo
Definitely LCD. Also it’s color.
Actually Tracker looked like that too and in colour.
In the fence between this and Oxi One…if it has polyphonic sequencing / euclidean / generative capabilities then I’ll go for the Polyend Play
If not, Oxi One
If its just the Tracker in a different Form Factor, I am a bit disappointed
And one of them is eating a midi cable. It’s crazy!
Based off the labeling, it seems like it might have very similar features to the Tracker, but with an interface that allows you to program sounds and alter the playback of sequences in real-time? I imagine there are some other features that are specific to the ui, which would add to it being more of a performance-oriented machine (and hopefully capable of creating polyrhythms)…
It can definitely polyrhythm. It was teased in their videos. And based on labels it can ping pong play I guess.
Cool. I wanna compare the Deluge to this Play.
Polymeters, yes. Grids don’t suit polyrhythms
Why? if you can set the speed also? I might confuse terms though
You could probably fudge a polyrhythm with micromoving, but having one track play 12 steps and another 16 (for example) so that they desynchronise when looping is a polymeter.
Polyend’s too long teasing campaign has fostered more complaints than ever for a still unreleased product.
