Printed Elektron manuals...tips

i think they both have their pros and cons
i love cmd f (find)
i love my old marker, with some notes.

i bought an octatrack again (for the 3rd time)
since I know my Rytm inside out, it’s much easier to learn about this, but still a lot of strange things happen, maybe they are logical, but it doesn’t feel like that…

the manual is on my desk now… the size and amount of pages intimidate me

All of that can be done digitally too.

Yeah, I know. It’s a useful feature but not really practical. I know this because I was travelling for almost two years and occasionally I had to buy a PDF or whatever version of the Lonely Planet/Rough Guide. I could easily highlight sentences and bookmark pages but it just doesnt have the time saving immediacy that a physical book has.

I always try to minimize screen time

I like to break up big manuals into Evernote notes, fantastic little application to store all sorts of notes if you put the effort in.

What gram thickness did you choose?

No worse than losing all your PDF highlights when you update to the latest PDF manual!
