This is so frustrating !
I’ve taken the habit to connect my DN with Overbridge in Ableton so i can use effects and other vsts with it.
I know what to expect with some known issues, that’s ok.
So today, everything worked as usual : poorly.
I had no audio dropouts but latency to an olympic level.
The DN was synced at first and ( as expected ) lost it’s connection with Ableton a few moments later.
So far so good !
…Then something strange happened:
I was fiddling with the DN and i don’t know why, but i pressed the space bar on my pc.
Suddenly all was in sync, with no latency issues…the DN was tight with Ableton’s metronome.
…AND I DID NOT DECONNECT/RECONNECT THE DN PRIOR TO THIS !
So…
Is it too much to ask for some consistancy ?
I want my Overbridge to almost work, or at least, to crash often or to resist any manipulation to correct latency gaps !
What am i suppose to do with a flawless connection with my hardware !
Use it ? … ENJOY IT !!?
I’m so angry right now… I really hope it won’t work well next time i use it !
I hope next update will prevent the software to get stable so i can blame it instead of me for not creating incredible music.
The worst part is that i can still use the DN as standalone.
