Problem with MD and Ableton midi clips

First of all i want to say Ciao to everyone of you because i’m a new one.

I’m writing because i have a problem using my machinedrum…I’m trying to record pattern using my midi keyboard.

If i press keys everything work fine,i have only to adjust the midi delay to sync the MD with Ableton(master).
But if i create a midi clip and i record the keys i’ve pressed with the keyboard the midi clip is slightly out of tempo.

When the midi clip ends and then start again seems like the notes are triggering two times the MD and i have any of the 16 tracks that sound doubled at the beginning of the clip.

This happen if i set in the TRIG section to “gate” or “start” but if i select the cue option the clips sound straight but without the flexibility to use the triggering exactly when you press a note…

Can anyone help me?

check your MIDI routing. Change to a dedicated channel from “all ins” on your record channel may solve your problem, as well you can turn off the option on the MD to send notes.

as well by Live’s workflow - I recommend to record audio. Work which is done is work done.
