Problem with octaves in A4 sequencer (Solved)

Hey, I was wondering if anyone had any insight into an issue I’m having.

I am writing a song with my A4 sequencing my Rev 2. In general I have been using the A4 a lot for external sequencing of various mono synths and really liking it. However, using it to sequence a poly I am confused about the following:

When entering chords into the sequencer it seems to drop octaves. For example, when doing the finger acrobatics required to scroll through two octaves while adding notes, if I enter D F A D the lower D is dropped. Is there anyway to avoid this without using a midi keyboard? . Thanks everyone for your help!

Worked for me just now, though I was only trying internal voices, not driving an external synth. But it should be the same. Here’s what I did: hold D(5), press F(5), A(5), keep A pressed, release D and F, hit the octave up, press D(6). I wish there was a screen option to list the notes but they light as expected when I hold the trig.

Thanks, works just as you described. I think I was getting my fingers tangled up somehow.
