Record automation from A4 to Ableton?

hi,
in this vid from 16:00, it seems to be possible :


I do the same way…press configure, tweak the knobs on the A4, somme parameters appear and move in overbridge, but: can’t record those automations.Arm rec track and sequencer rec in ableton…no change on midi clip.
A4 don’t send midi out but this begin to confuse with over bridge.
What i want to do is to record automation first in live, and after rework it in Ableton.

I have exactly the same problem. I posted on dataline topic but had no response… I use a midi keyboard (mpk25) and it works but it’s not useful…
