Recording Digitone to DAW

Hello all.
Apologies for the nooby question, but I’m lost and haven’t been able to figure this out.

Digitone is my only Elektron device and I’d like to hook it up to my Ableton Live 9 Lite, to use as a soundcard (I guess) so that I could record all 4 tracks (+Audio In) separately.

However, I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong here, but Ableton does not recognize Digitone as an audio input device, only as a MIDI device. Same is for Reaper, so I’m guessing something is wrong with the Digitone?

I installed the latest update and downloaded Overbridge as well – Digitone also doesn’t show up on Overbridge Control Panel.

Desperately in need of some guidance here. Thanks to everyone who responds.

I fear, we all have to wait, because Overbridge for Digitone is not available as final version …

I was under the impression that the Digitone can still act as an external soundcard and record audio into a daw with the newest beta drivers. The Overbridge plugin and standalone application are not available yet however. Might want to check the settings of the Digitone itself. I’ve heard others being able to record audio with then Digitone though.

to OP: make sure, digitone is in overbridge mode and not in usb only mode. in digitone menu: system/usb settiings

one issue is that Lite can only take four inputs (or two stereo tracks), whereas the Digitone outputs twelve. I “upgraded” after realizing.
