Hi, I’m relatively new to the Octatrack, this is my first post. I’m trying to allocate all the memory to the buffer of track 8. If I play bank 1, pattern one, I can record a long sample in the buffer (45 sec). I then use the crossfader trick to go to bank 2 pattern 1 and the recorder buffer plays nicely. Then I crossfade to the actual pattern in bank 2. Next I try to make a recording in buffer R8 but the OT only records 16 sec of audio and then stops. I’ve read the manual and tried everything (dynamic allocation etc…) but I can’t figure it out.
Have you set RLEN to max in the REC1 setup for that part?
