I can’t find this info in the manual. If I want to use the MD to sequence my other synths, can I record melodic information from my MIDI keyboard into a MID machine on the MD, or will it see the note triggers as triggering the different samples/drum sounds instead?
The latter, according to either the default MIDI mapping given on page B-1 of the manual or to any custom mapping that you have set up (pages 59 & 60 of the manual).
