The scenario is Digitakt + Digitone, 2x2 USB interface, and Live.
Is it possible to record the DT + DN straight into Live using OB, while simultaneously not handing over the slave/MIDI control to Live.
Essentially I want Live to act only as a recording suite but use USB to record my hardware.
Yeah, just turn off sync and transport in the plugins

If you don’t need Live when performing you can also record directly from the standalone mode of OB.
I use Logic Pro and the setup is a bit of a pain so not having to launch a DAW is good news for me.
