Still not an owner of M:C but will be yet.
But I ask myself if somebody tried to recreate the M:C in Drambo. Knowing the power of this fantastic app I’m quiet sure it’s possible.
…drumsythesis gets NEVER that versatile as drumsampling…
or is drambo synthesis based?..dunno…
if so…still not really a sonic mission to fulfill…mocking the cycles instead of using drambo for what it is…
and even if…the swedish sequencing eklektik elektrik trick in hardware can’t be mocked with any touch touch app…this hw sequencer remains always an instrument of it’s own…
no matter what it’s drivin’…
Too many if prejudice creativity and advance.
Drambo IS a modular synthesizer (VA and FM) based on a microprocessor platform (iPhone or iPad). It has p-locks and cond trigs in its sequencer and much more.
M:C is a synthétiser based on a dedicated microprocessor (DSP) platform. But it has knobs.
…based on a microprocessor platform…!?
woooow…THEN it can recreate for sure…i guess…
One issue might be that the Drambo FM Operator feedback doesn’t go up to noise, which some of the M:C machines do.
True. Maybe by mixing with the noise generator and adding distorsion.
The three racks can be commanded by a knob rack.
