Rendering with Overbridge in Ableton Live

Hello,

Yesterday I rendered a track from Ableton Live which had some Digitone and A4 tracks with overbridge into it. I was surprised to see and hear non of those tracks were included in the render.

indeed, it did not render in real time and that was suspicious. If I use “external instrument” on an audio channel for my other synths, it does render in real time. Why dus it not do this behaviour for overbridge.

Now I need to resample each OB track first into audio and then render the master.
Are there quicker methods to do this? Like as with external instruments?
How do you do it?

Great question, one I had to figure out myself. best option to date imo is this, its amazing imo

Workaround: create a new midi track and load an “external instrument”. Ableton will be forced to use realtime rendering that way and your Overbridge tracks should be included.

only works with audio signal through interface though, not units like DT/DN via usb audio
